Weekend trip to the Buffalo River, hiking from Compton to Centerpoint Trailheads. We got a shuttle to Compton Trailhead Friday afternoon and set out down the Hemmed In Hollow Trail. I can not emphasize how steep this trail is. If at all possible try to plan your trip to not go UP! We camped at Jim's Bluff on Friday night then backtracked to Hemmed In Hollow Falls Saturday morning. After exploring a little along some side paths, we camped at the intersection of the Centerpoint and Big Bluff Trails. We hiked out to the Centerpoint Trailhead Sunday morning.
